In the early hours of Tuesday, 7th August 2018 Nigerians woke up to the news of unpleasant take-over of the Nation’s highest seat of parliament, National Assembly.
It all looked like Military take-over at first but several eye witness reports revealed that the APC senators actually plotted the blockade with DSS in a bid to unseat Senate President Bukola Saraki whose offense appeared to be defection away from the ruling party to PDP.
Meanwhile, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who is currently acting as president in the absence President Muhammadu Buhari rose to the situation by ordering termination of Director-General Of State Security Service, Lawal Musa Daura despite his close ethnical ties with Buhari.
