The word “Overrated” is defined as “having a higher opinion of someone or something than is deserved.”

After studying the Nigerian music scene, I surely came to the assertion that their are many artistes surely overrated in the the music industry.

These artistes, (some old, some new) are often given so much credit, but a closer look at their works will reveal to you that hype outshines talent and acclaim is founded mostly on media exposure and sentiments.

There’s no denying that some artistes are popular and successful but do they really have the X factor? And even if they do, is it being applied?

After making my observations and opinions known, I’ll leave you to decide which music star in the Nigerian music scene you will tagged as been “OVERRATED”

For sure, an artiste that you feel is overrated is definitely the Music god of another party, so try not to force your own opinion on others.

Try and keep the comment section as clean as possible, avoid Gory words, avoid curse and just pour out your own opinion and why you feel so.
