If Mayorkun Should Leave DMW Today, Who Will Be On The Losing Side Between Mayorkun And Davido?

It’s already a heated new week already at the Naijaloaded HQ here in Lagos. We had another topnotch everyday argument today in here.

I will sure like to give you guys the glimpse of it. We talked about the influence of Davido on Mayorkun’s musical career, and we came to the conclusion that it was a massive one.

Albeit, The glory, and Money the Mayor of Lagos has contributed to the label should also be considered and we quantified it and it also a massive impact the Posh crooner brought to the label.

The main bone of argument was that if Mayorkun decides to leave the label today, what’s effect will it have on his own career, if Davido withdraws all his support from him, and how is it going to be like for Davido and DMW if Mayorkun quits the label.

My colleague gave me a sample of Starboi Boss Wizkid leaving his formal Boss Banky W‘s Label Empire Mate Entertainment and it crumbled same applies to Yeba Crooner Kizz Daniel breaching the G-Worldwide’s contract to unveiled his own Flyboi Label and they are both obviously doing very well in the industry better than their formal record label.

If Mayorkun leaves Davido’s DMW,  will he still remain relevant in the industry?

Before you judge this, I think you have to put in mind that Mayorkun is the label flag-bearer and also the most successful Signee by the label since inception.
