The English Premier League club Leicester City has confirmed the death of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha from a helicopter crash on Saturday night.
Vichai was on his private chopper leaving the King Power stadium after watching a game when the aircraft crashed, not long after taking off from the stadium.
The helicopter went down into a park near the stadium, exploding into a ball of flame and killing all onboard.
The crash had made headline news all over the weekend but the fate of those on board had yet to be confirmed.
But the worst fears of those who heard of the crash has been realized as confirmation arrives that everyone on board perished.

The Leicester City President died, alongside his regular pilot and the pilot’s wife, and two other members of his staff identified as Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare.
The 60 year old Vichai is survived by four children. He had owned Leicester since 2010 and took them from the lower divisions to the Premier League title in 2016.
