Over the past twenty years, the Nigerian music industry has grown like a stem cell; metamorphosing from a blastocyst into a wild beast with its own life source.
The industry has produced talents, mavericks and legends and we are blessed with the likes of 2Baba, P-Square, 9ice and D’banj who are internationally acclaimed artistes.
These four, having dominated the scene in the last decade, can be known as the Kings of the industry. Their consistency, influence, and repertoire of hits qualify them for the title.
We have recent time legends too, that are repping Nigeria full time in every part of the globe as at now. The likes of Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Adekunle Gold, Olamide are doing greatly well.
Budding Legends, that will sure keep Nigerian music industry blooming on the entertainment radar of the globe generally example of such talents are, Mayorkun, Mr Eazi, Kizz Daniel ,Teni, Lyta, Ric Hassani, Oyinkanade and the rest.
I was just thinking out aloud today, when a simple but tactical question struck my mind about who can be the President of Nigerian Music Industry if it’s became an Association today.
I’m not even getting any suggestion from my brain, cause I believed heading an association as colossal as Nigerian music industry is not a child’s play and it’s not just about musical talent.
