Actress Yvonne Nelson some years back became an unexpected thorn in the flesh of the then NDC government as the dumsor epidemic ravaged this country with no end in sight.
Baby Ryn’s mother led a massive celebrity-driven march which had a massive turnout and placed immense pressure on John Mahama’s administration to solve the crisis.
If we remember correctly the march was a big deal to the extent that NDC lover and Yvonne’s ‘best friend’ John Dumelo was very displeased at her for leading it.
Over three years down the line we have a new government and it seems we might be seeing another ‘dumsor must stop’ demonstration quite soon.

Recently dumsor has been sneakily coming back into the mainstream as several places suffer strategic light outs. Many Ghanaians have been complaining about it including celebrities such as Nana Aba Anamoah and John Dumelo.
Yvonne Nelson has also started complaining about the return of dumsor. On Twitter Sunday, Yvonne wondered if dumsor has returned.
With Yvonne’s attention now turned to the lights out, who knows how long it’ll be before we see another vigil.
