Ghanaians are roasting their rapper, Sarkodie for expressing his opinions over Africa’s state of corruption and retrogression which is mainly being caused by our corrupt, greedy and enemies to Africa’s progress, the politicians.
Sarkodie in a series of Tweets said Africa’s freedom is enough and its time for us to introduce dictatorship, colonialism or a ruler who will force Africans to be on their feet,
“What we need at this point might seem like a dictatorship and will feel uncomfortable since we have enjoyed temporal freedom for a minute but we need drastic measures to survive.” he tweeted.
He continued with another post that, “I genuinely want to see us survive… It doesn’t matter how good my life will be in this lifetime but what my future generations will have to face later…,”

Sarkodie’s tweet is abhorrent and frankly beneath him too. For someone with his knowledge of Ghana and the world, I expect more nuance from him. If dictatorships were that excellent, wouldn’t his friend JJ Rawlings have saved us?
